Alumni Honors Scholarship (Click above to submit an application) |

records of academic success.
To reward academic excellence among UM students. |
Available
to entering first-year freshman students who scored exceptionally high
(usually 29 or better) on the ACT or equivalent SAT score.
The amount of the scholarship is $7,000 per academic year. Two scholarships are awarded and are renewable with a minimum cumulative 3.25 GPA. |
| Alumni Legacy Scholarship | July 1 | To recruit the children and/or
grandchildren of active alumni to attend the University of Montevallo. To provide a scholarship in honor of the commitment of graduates who contribute to the development of the University of Montevallo. |
Entering freshman who are children or
grandchildren of active alumni are eligible to apply.
The parent or grandparent must hold and undergraduate or graduate degree from UM nd be considered active alumni (as defined by the University of Montevallo National Alumni Association) for three of the past five years. Interested students indicate they are children or grandchildren of UM graduate on on the application. The amount of the scholarship is $500 for one academic year, which may be used at the University of Montevallo bookstore to purchase books and supplies as needed to assist in the successful transition to college. The number of scholarships awarded will be based upon the availability of funds. |
| James R. Wilkinson Leadership Scholarship | March 1 | To reward students that demonstrate leadership, integrity, and achievement. | Applicant must be a rising junior or senior
who has been enrolled as a full-time student at the University for one
academic year.
The amount of the scholarship is $5,000. Recipients selected based on leadership; may be renewed with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. |
