Falcons Fall in
Postseason Clash with Arkansas-Monticello, 76-63
SOUTHAVEN, Miss. – The
University of Montevallo men’s basketball team (15-16) fell in a tough
battle with the University of Arkansas-Monticello (20-8), 76-63. The Falcons
out-shot the Boll Weevils 46.7 percent to 37.1 percent but only took 45
shots compared to UAM’s 62. more

MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The
University of Montevallo men’s and women’s basketball teams have both been
awarded spots in the Gulf South Conference Basketball Tournament. The women
will take to the court first as they play on Wednesday, March 4 at 12:30
p.m. against Ouachita Baptist University. The men will follow suit at 2:45
p.m. on March 4 against the University of Arkansas-Monticello.

Named to the All-GSC Teams
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The
University of Montevallo men’s basketball team was awarded a pair of players
on the All-Gulf South Conference Teams. Junior Freddy Little (Raleigh,
North Carolina) was named to the First Team All-GSC East Division Team
while junior Nate Flowers (Waldorf, Maryland) was named All-GSC East
Second Team. more
