Balaam Named New
Women’s Soccer Assistant Coach at UM
MONTEVALLO, Ala.
– Stacey Balaam
has been named the new women’s soccer assistant coach at the University
of Montevallo. Balaam becomes the first full-time assistant coach in the
programs’ history.

Three Selected as
Recipients of NCAA Degree-Completion Award
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. –
Three University of Montevallo
student-athletes have been selected to receive the NCAA Division II
Degree-Completion Award. Former women’s soccer standout Paula Radmard
along with volleyball standouts Monika Tortorici and Lauren Tortorici
will receive the award for the 2009-10 school year.

Falcons Add Eight for 2009
MONTEVALLO, Ala.
- The University of Montevallo women’s soccer program has signed eight
student-athletes to compete for the Falcons in 2009, it has been
announced by head coach Patricia Hughes. Coach Hughes is bringing
in her largest recruiting class since joining the Falcons 10 seasons ago
due to the wealth of experience and talent that the Falcons graduated
this past fall. The student-athletes encompass an impressive balance of
talent and athleticism that will bolster the roster, bring depth to the
squad and further raise the high level of competition for starting
