The Technology Services Department provides direct support to University-owned computers. Computers owned by students are not supported. Students needing assistance should contact the manufacturer of the device. Limited troubleshooting assistance is available to students for network connectivity issues on UMNET.
Beginning with the fall semester of 2010, internet access in the residence halls is provided by College Cable. Students experiencing difficulty connecting to the internet should contact College Cable's 24 hour help desk at (888) 467-9004 or the University of Montevallo's Office of Housing and Residence Life at (205) 665-6235, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday.
