each graduate can bring. If so, you will
receive an email with that information

In
the case of rain, spring commencement
at Flowerhill Lawn is moved indoors and a limited
number of tickets are issued for
each graduate. A broadcast email
notification is sent out to all
students in advance of the event should
the ceremony need to be relocated. Please
monitor your student email regularly for
updates if you are graduating in the
spring.
If you do not wish to
participate in the ceremony, you must notify
Graduate Admissions & Records of your intent so
that you may be excused. Please call our
office at (205) 665-6350 or e-mail
graduate@montevallo.edu.
Please be certain that all
degree requirements have been met.
Students taking courses at other institutions
must submit an official transcript showing
satisfactory completion of the course(s) to
Graduate Admissions & Records no later than
3:00 p.m. on the Wednesday
before graduation.
A diploma card must be
on file in Graduate Admissions & Records for
graduation. The diploma card can be picked up in
the Van Tuyll House. If you have any
questions or need someone to mail a card to your
home, please call our office (205) 665-6350, or e-mail
graduate@montevallo.edu.
The
Completer Survey MUST be completed in order to
graduate. The survey will show in your
ForUM account for you to complete online.
Graduate student
HONORS AND HOOD COLOR INFO
Students who have a cumulative GPA of 4.0 upon their
final semester of graduate study will receive honor
cords at their graduation rehearsal to wear in the
commencement ceremony. This is the only honor for
graduate students other than their honor society issued
items.

are unique to each discipline:
